Lake Superior Cruise

On June 23rd, 2001 Williwaw once again slipped her lines and headed north, through Door County, to Fayette State Park on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, across Lake Michigan to Beaver Island, then on into Lake Huron and the St. Marys River to Sault St. Marie.

After spending a pleasant 5 days in the "Soo" we transited the Canadian Lock and entered Lake Superior. Cruising west along the southern shore we crossed to Isle Royale where we rendezvoused with family and friends to cruise the Island and the North Shore. We returned to the "Soo" in early September and cleared back into the U.S. on the 10th.

We are in the process of reconstructing our site; photos and more to follow.
